I contributed to the front-end development of Hawes and Curtis, a premium British heritage brand known for its luxury shirts and formalwear. My work focused on enhancing the user experience across desktop and mobile by implementing responsive layouts, optimising performance, and refining key customer journeys such as product discovery, filtering, and checkout. This involved collaborating with designers and backend developers to deliver clean, maintainable code that aligned with brand standards and e-commerce best practices

E-commerce Functionality: Integrated product catalog with dynamic filtering (size, fit, colour, etc.), smooth add-to-bag interactions, and a secure multi-step checkout process.
Product Detail Pages (PDPs): Rich content including zoomable image galleries, size guides, fit information, fabric composition, and recommendations.
Promotions & Campaigns: Flexible promotional banners, sale tagging, and homepage takeovers to support seasonal and brand campaigns.
User Account Features: User login/registration, order history, saved addresses, and newsletter subscription management.
Search & Navigation: Mega-menu with category links, keyword search with autocomplete, and mobile-friendly site-wide search.
Personalisation: Suggested products, bestsellers, and related items powered by browsing behaviour and purchase history.
Multi-Currency & International Support: Currency switcher and location-specific delivery options.
Performance Optimisations: Lazy loading, asset minification, and enhancements for page speed and SEO.
